In 2012, after several years of working in film production, Kokayi Ampah wanted to share his knowledge of the industry with aspiring filmmakers. Ampahvision developed two projects that would tour campuses across the country on the importance of location management. Armed with film's potential for awareness, he went on to tackle the rising homelessness crisis, after being inspired while working on the set of a film that shot in the heart of skid row. Since then, Ampahvision has continued the conversation of social, cultural, and mental disparities utilizing humor and heart to educate and uplift audiences.
